Join the Orchestra

We are always happy to see new faces in the orchestra and especially so in the brass and string sections. We do not hold auditions, but rather would like to see how you feel about playing with us by your attending rehearsals. Inevitably if we have too many of an instrument (unlikely for strings) for a particular piece, a decision will be needed regarding who plays in concerts. Rotation may be necessary.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7pm until 9pm at the Brass Band Hall on Dyer Street, Whangarei.

Even if you don't play an instrument, you can still be involved! Friends of the Northland Sinfonia recieve regular newsletters and updates.
