About us

We are a no-audition community orchestra based in Whangarei, Northland. We aim to perform three concerts a year, usually with a classical focus, although we sometimes play more modern pieces (for example the concert we did ate the end of 2021 where we played an assortment of movie themes). 

We rehearse at the Old Library, Rust Avenue, between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on Wednesdays other than when we are taking a short break after a concert. We also have occasional Saturday morning rehearsals.
